Thanksgiving Dinner Garland
Make a nutritious Thanksgiving feast for the birds and squirrels in your yard!
You Will Need:
Large needle
Cotton string
Air-Popped Popcorn
Assorted Dried Fruits (cranberries, apricots, raisins, etc.)
What To Do:
Cut a length of string as long as you wish to make the garland. Have a grown up help you thread the needle and string the popcorn and other items onto the string in a cool pattern. When finished, hang the garland in a tree or shrub for the animals in your backyard to enjoy.
You can also spread a bit of natural peanut butter onto the popcorn and dried fruit for an extra bit of protein and fat. Birds and squirrels need that combination of nutrients to keep warm and active in the upcoming winter!
